The Dundrod Circuit

The Dundrod Circuit is set high in the hills above Belfast.

The circuit is 7 miles 505 yards long.  Racing takes place on  roads that are used by everyday traffic, but of course are closed to traffic during race days.

Home to the Ulster Grand Prix and also the Dundrod 150 the circuit is steeped in history.

Fifty years ago, home of the Ulster Grand Prix was the 16.5 mile Clady Circuit, by consent one of the finest in the world.

Many things have changed since then. The highly technical and professional approach of the competitors putting lap-speeds at the 130 mph mark.
